Youth Ministries
Mission Statement
In accordance with 1Timothy 4:12 we do not despise the
youth because they are young, but desire to teach tomorrow’s
leaders to lead today. By being an example in word,
conduct and love they will move by the Spirit in faith
and purity. They will embrace their calling to be a
chosen generation as in 1 Peter 2:9; recognizing and
understanding the purpose and unity in the diversity
of their spiritual gifts as in 1 Corinthians 12:12-31.
We desire that this generation boldly and aggressively
act on the great commissioning of Christ as their Savior
in Acts 1:8 and Matthew 10:8; to receive power of the
Holy Spirit and go and witness to the ends of the earth,
heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and
cast out demons.
The Youth Group at Freedom Chapel consists of Jr. and
Sr. High School aged youth. They meet at the church
on Wednesday nights at 7:00. The youth in the International
Church of the Foursquare Gospel are organized at the
national, district and individual church level. During
the month of July the youth meet at District Camp for
a week of fun and spiritual growth. The ICFG owns its
own camp, Camp
McPherson, near the Mohican State Park.
